DIY checklist

1. Put yourself in your customers' shoes and try to find your site:
- You are unlikely to search by company name
- You would normally search by product type or product name
- You pay to access the Internet and want quality information fast
- You generally want relevant UK based information
2. If your company sells umbrellas, think about the keywords and phrases people are likely to type into a search engine to find you.
3. Use this method to search for your own company. Look at the results, not only for your own position, but also your competitors.
